Programme Objective: The programme aims to equip participants with essential knowledge and practical skills to protect against cyber threats. By the end of the session, participants will understand common cyber threats, best practices for safeguarding data, and measures to enhance overall cyber security.

Participants will learn to identify various types of cyber threats such as phishing, malware, ransomware, and social engineering, and recognize the potential impacts of cyber-attacks. They will explore effective strategies for creating and managing strong passwords, the importance of software updates, and safe browsing and email security practices. The session will cover data encryption and secure storage techniques, emphasizing the protection of personal information on social media and other online platforms.

The programme structure includes an introduction to cyber safety, detailed explanations of common threats with real-life examples, discussions on best practices for password management, software updates, and safe browsing. Participants will also learn about data protection strategies, incident response steps, and remote work safety. The session will conclude with a Q&A segment for participant questions and experiences, followed by a recap and additional resources for further learning.

 Resource Person:   Mr. N Raagavendran is a graduate of Science, in Computer Applications.He is the Founder Chairman of Katthukko Consultants Private Limited, which specializes in cyber security, training, counselling, consulting, and placement. As an official cyber security consultant for Salem City Police and one of the three specialists in Tamil Nadu handling cybercrime issues, he has extensive experience in training diverse groups, including schools, colleges, hospitals, IT companies, and banks. He is also a trained and certified NLP life coach, offering counselling for psychological issues to children, students, couples, and businessmen. He coordinates the “Cyber Warriors” project for Salem City Police, aiming to raise cybercrime awareness across 45 colleges. This initiative is the first of its kind in India.

In his JCI career, he has served in various roles since 2016 and conducted over 100 training programs across 12 zones in JCI India. He has received numerous awards, including Outstanding JCI Member of Zone 17 and certification as an Iconic Trainer at NATCON 2023. He is the LO President 2024 and a National Trainer.
