Programme Objective: Â The objective of this training program is to encourage individuals to be mindful of their thoughts, emotions, and overall well-being. Through a focus on key mindfulness components such as intentional focus, non-judgmental acceptance, present moment awareness, curiosity, openness, and non-striving, participants will be guided to develop healthier mental habits.
The program aims to remind individuals to pay attention to their thoughts and emotions, be aware of their mental state, and take proactive steps to care for their mental health. Participants will also learn to cultivate a positive and compassionate mindset through regular practice of mindfulness and self-reflection.
By the end of the program, participants will have acquired valuable tools to reduce stress and anxiety, improve emotional regulation, enhance self-awareness, increase focus and productivity, and develop a more positive and resilient mindset. This holistic approach to “minding your mind” is designed to foster lasting mental well-being and equip individuals to navigate the challenges of modern life with clarity and calm.
Resource Person:Â Â Dr. Mini Priya Rajendran is a pioneering first-generation woman entrepreneur, widely recognized for her contributions in the fields of education, wellness, and social empowerment. She is the Founder and CEO of Dr. PRIYA’S CLINIC & WELLNESS CENTRE, as well as the Founder and Chairman of Dr. MPR Institutes and the Managing Trustee of EDU-TECH Educational and Charitable Trust. With a rich background as a Psychology and Wellness Consultant, she has dedicated her life to empowering women, youth, and marginalized communities through education, wellness, and entrepreneurship.
Her journey in academia began as an Assistant Professor in Biotechnology, and in 2011 she founded EDU-TECH, an organization that supports students in research, skill development, and publication. She has conducted over 2,000 training sessions for corporate professionals, students, teachers, and entrepreneurs, focusing on key areas such as youth empowerment, drug awareness, gender-based violence, and health and wellness. As an advocate for women’s empowerment, she offers free consultations to aspiring women entrepreneurs and provides medical and counselling support to old age homes and orphanages.
She is also leading the ambitious “Diabetes-Free Society 2030” project, launched in 2014. Her achievements include prestigious fellowships from the Indian Institute of Science and Taiwan University of Engineering, reflecting her commitment to making a lasting impact through education and wellness.
